Timeline

This blog, except when noted, is a work of fiction based on the hit MMO, EVE Online, and follows the equally fictional adventures of the character, Meredith en Thielles, as played by writer Kristan Cannon

Timeline, the best we know it…

Date of Birth: 29.09.YC37
YC39 – Meredith’s wife, Jacqueline en Thielles (nee “Schereau”), is born.
YC57 – Enters Caille University to study Astrogeology.
YC59 – Meredith’s son is born and she marries his Caldari father (this ends up being a huge mistake)
YC61 – Obtains Bachelor degree (B.Sci) in Astrogeology, with a minor in Planetary Geophysics. At the end of the year, Meredith and her husband end up at odds and separate. He wins a court battle to have custody of their son, but Meredith is granted visitation.
YC62 – Obtains PSM and CPaG designations

YC63 – Meredith works with SoCT in the depths of space. Meets Jacqueline.
YC64 – Marries Jacqueline, and after a short discussion, Jacqueline takes Meredith’s surname and sets aside her birth one. Jacqueline convinces her to set aside working for SoCT in favour of their safety.

YC65 – Meredith returns to Caille University to study and pursue her Masters degree.
YC67 – She defends a thesis and gains her Masters in Astrogeology.
On the Nature of Mercoxit and Morphite – An Introduction

YC67 – Meredith goes to work with ORE.
YC68 – Through surrogacy and adoption, Meredith and Jacqueline have a daughter they name Ruby.

YC70 (early) – Jacqueline unexpectedly passes away from a rare bone disease. Meredith is devastated.

YC70 – Events of Season One of “Invictus“

YC71 – Events of Season Two of “Invictus“
YC72 – Events of Season Three of “Invictus“

YC75 – Returns to Caille University and becomes a Professor in their Sciences Department teaching Astrogeology, but occasionally also gives lectures on the nature of “Wormhole Space”.

YC86 – Meredith is contracted by ORE to look into ore and gas deposits through a wormhole. While numerous search parties scour the area using the last bits of data sent by her, and even find the solar system she found within “wormhole space”, no trace of her or her prospect are found.

YC91 – Caille University petitions CONCORD to declare Meredith en Thielles legally dead. CONCORD denies their petition.
YC92 – A joint petition between Caille University and the en Thielles family to CONCORD, despite Meredith’s son fighting it tooth and nail, is granted and Meredith is declared legally dead 08.11.YC92.

YC118 – Right before Youil, Meredith reappears in New Eden in a far-flung corner of null-sec. After dodging Guristas and nearly dying twice, and then relying on her cloak on her prospect, she notices a familiar name in local and reaches out. Jarvis Cipher is shocked to hear from someone who was supposed to be over thirty years dead, but after verifying her identity, immediately grants her docking access to Lippstadt Creed’s athanor in X-Z4DA. He is even more shocked to note that while she appears to have aged to physically be in her mid-sixties, this is a far cry from the mid-eighties she is supposed to be. Meredith is reluctant to disclose where she has been or what she has been doing.

Meredith’s credentials with Caille University are reinstated, and CONCORD rescinds the assumption of her death, returning Meredith officially to the land of the living after the 33 years since she originally vanished.

YC119 – Meredith is contracted to give a series of short lectures and Q&A’s on nullsec rock type ores at Algonquin Secondary & Vocational High School on the Gallente Federation Space Station in Mirilene.
